This grooming treatment is reserved for long or medium-long haired cats(Persian, Maine coon, Siberian, Ragdoll , Sacred of Burma, etc.). Due to the length of their coat, fecal matter may remain stuck to the hair after defecation.
Mowing the anal area is used as a preventative measure to avoid this problem and maintain a good level of hygiene in this body area.

La procédure consiste à éliminer les souillures (si présentes), puis à tondre les poils tout autour de l'anus. Cleaning with a foam dry shampoo specially adapted for cats is carried out if the area is dirty. A simple brushing of the coat ends the session.

The session must take place at the cat's homein a quiet place. Indeed , cats aresensitive to noises and can quickly find themselves in a state of stress, even though labor has not yet started.
For the grooming session, you will be asked to prepare ahigh place(table , counter) on which the catis authorized to climb on a daily basis.
